This beautiful handmade and hand painted art pottery jug was produced by the world-renowned and highly collected Moorcroft factory in Stoke on Trent, England.
It was designed by Nicola Slaney and forms part of her 'A Designers Score' range, which celebrates her 20th anniversary as a Moorcroft designer.
The jug features the Wild Gladioli pattern, which was first introduced in 2016 as part of the songs of Cevennes collection but has been re-issued on this new shape in a limited edition of 50
This particular example is actually a design trial dated 17.7.17.
Moorcroft's recommended retail price for the jug was £630.00.
Although deemed second quality with a red dot to the base it is considered to be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. The jug has a couple of under the glaze stray paint marks, and some tiny clear glaze bubbles as shown in the close up photographs. These do not adversely affect the display but should be considered prior to you making your purchase.
Please refer to the attached photographs for confirmation of condition, colouring, and paintwork.
Any bright white marks are as a result of light reflection.
